I agree with Chick Moorman because i can relate to this statement. I think what he's trying to say is that it doesn't matter if you lose or win, what matters is that you played it right fair. I think that honorable in this statement means that when you need to play it right and people will honor you and appreciate how you played. An example of this would be Andrew is playing basketball and he's not playing right because he wants to win. He starts traveling and running without bouncing the ball. He tips another kid so he doesn't score. At the end of the game his team wins but he feels guilty because he knows he played wrong that night. Another example of this would be Jenny
