Character //

“Character is higher than intellect.”

• Ralph Waldo Emerson

Reflection: I think that this is true because you don't have to be the greatest smartest genius to have good character. Character and Intellect are different but they are both good. “True independence and freedom can only exist in doing what’s right”

Brigham Young

I think this is true and i agree with it because it’s basically saying that to have independence and freedom you must be doing the right thing. I think that independence and freedom both depend on how you are and how you will be on your own. I also think that when you have freedom, to keep that freedom you must do what’s right. “ Many think that the short term gain will be worth the long term pain, but it isn’t. In addition, using steroids is cheating, and there is nothing worse in sports than a cheater, don't do it.”

• George Mitchell

Reflection: I think that this statement is very true. Because you might enjoy something for a while, but if you cheated, its gonna hurt you and come back to you later in life as bad. I think that in order to enjoy something like you should, you shouldnt cheat. I think that most people forget that just because you got away with something when you cheated, it wont turn bad sooner or later, but it will.People should learn how to do things right and actually earn what you wanted instead of cheating your way into success and happiness.
