Rewards

I agree with this statement because its basically saying that when you choose the right, you will get rewarded not necessarily physical rewards, but internal rewards. I think that the best rewards are internal because you feel so much better and you become better too. I think that as you become a better person and always choose the right and whats best for you, you will become a better person and thats something that happens in the inside. I think that when you gain self respect, dignity, integrity and self esteem, you feel so much better both inside and out. I think that Dr. Lauren is trying to teach us that when we choose the right, the reward isnt always gonna be in your hand but insde .

Promises?

Reflection: i agree with this 100% because you need to keep your word and do as you say. You have to act upon what you said. Keeping a promise shows a lot about the person you are because it can show different characteristics you have such as integrity, honesty and trustworthiness. A good example of keeping a promise would be if my friend Alexa said that she’d come to my house on wednesday. It would be considered a promise because she said she would come. If she doesn’t show up, it means that she broke her promise. Breaking a promise is bad because it means that you did not keep your word.

Integrity

There are the 3 magic keys to living your life with integrity:
1. Have the courage to say no.
2. Have the courage to face the truth.
3. Do the right thing because it is right.         - W. Clement Stone

I totally agree with this statement because you have to learn to say no to something that will do bad to you or to others. Hanging around with bad influences might lead them to ask you to do something bad with them. From there you have to learn to say no to things you know are wrong. You also have to have the courage to face the truth. Say the truth no matter how hard, it will always make you feel relieved that you're not lying. If you got a fail in your geometry test and you lie to your parents, it will get you in more trouble than it would if you just told the truth. You have to do the right thing not only because it's right but because living with integrity is much better than living with fear or getting caught or feeling guilty for doing something that was not right at all. Knowing how to do these things will make you live your life peacefully and happy. Be responsible for how you act and do the right thing.
