There is a possibility that in someway or another i might be able to escape, but stand me on the floor and draw a chalk line around me and have me give my word of honor never to cross it. Reflection: I think that when you give your word, you need to keep it, because you agreed upon saying it. When you are about to give your word, you should think about it because you cannot say otherwise after. I think a good example would be if my bestfriend told me that she wouldn’t do a certain thing. If she says she wont do it, she is committing to keep her word. If she does it, she did not keep her word.

Promises?

Reflection: i agree with this 100% because you need to keep your word and do as you say. You have to act upon what you said. Keeping a promise shows a lot about the person you are because it can show different characteristics you have such as integrity, honesty and trustworthiness. A good example of keeping a promise would be if my friend Alexa said that she’d come to my house on wednesday. It would be considered a promise because she said she would come. If she doesn’t show up, it means that she broke her promise. Breaking a promise is bad because it means that you did not keep your word.
